Why this site exists
For 20 years, having an idea for a tool inside my work (a dashboard, a workflow, an analysis) meant the same five-step process:
- Write a brief
- Get on the IT roadmap
- Wait one or two quarters
- Receive a system that did about 80% of what you had asked for
- Quietly revert to spreadsheets.
That was the cost of having an idea. Senior commercial leaders made their peace with it. We learned to ration what we asked for, because asking was expensive.
That gap closed last year. I now build my own working tools inside Claude on a weekend, against a clear method. The Closed Gap is where I share what I build and how, so senior leaders can do the same: in agriculture today, transferable anywhere, because the problem is the same everywhere.
